These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of Kairos Ride’s website and services. By booking a ride, you agree to these Terms.

1. Definitions

• User or you: any person using our platform to request or schedule transportation services.
• Driver: an independent contractor providing transportation services via our platform.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering into legally binding contracts. By using our services, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements.

3. Booking & Payment

• Booking Process: Submit pickup/drop-off details, select vehicle type, and confirm your ride.
• Fare Calculation: Based on distance, time, vehicle type, and dynamic pricing factors.
• Payment: Collected via your selected payment method at the end of the trip. You authorize Kairos Ride and its payment processors to charge the total fare.

4. Cancellation & No-Show

• User Cancellation: Free cancellation up to 5 minutes before driver arrival. Afterward, a cancellation fee up to the minimum fare may apply.
• Driver Cancellation: Drivers may cancel due to traffic, safety, or vehicle issues; you will be notified and reimbursed if charged.
• No-Show: If you don’t show up within 5 minutes of driver arrival, a no-show fee may apply.

5. User Responsibilities

• Provide accurate pickup and drop-off locations.
• Behave respectfully and comply with applicable laws.
• Do not bring prohibited items (illegal substances, hazardous materials).
• Pay any additional fees (tolls, parking) not included in the base fare.

6. Driver Responsibilities

• Maintain a valid driver’s license, vehicle registration, and insurance.
• Adhere to local traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Provide courteous service and keep vehicles clean and in good repair.

7. Liability & Disclaimers

• Limitation of Liability: To the maximum extent permitted by law, Kairos Ride’s liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the total amount you paid for the affected trip.
• No Warranty: Services are provided “as is” without guarantees of availability, timeliness, or error-free operation.

8. Intellectual Property

All content, trademarks, and logos on our platform are the property of Kairos Ride or its licensors. You may not reproduce or use them without permission.

9. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which your ride originates. Any dispute will be resolved by arbitration or in the competent courts of that jurisdiction.

10. Modifications

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or website notice. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
